DIVISION ONE
Division 1 Rules:
To apply for this class your RC must meet these requirements to be eligible. Understand these rules may and can be changed without notice.
Division 1
The spirit of this class is daily driven trucks, with mild modifications/lift. Keep that in mind when building.
1/10th scale only
BODY:
All bodies must be made of - Wood/Metal/ABS/Styrene/3D Printed materials, No lexan at all.
If your body is molded into one piece you don't have to separate the bed from the cab.
Full drop beds are required for trucks with a minimum depth of 1" unless you run a Flatbed. Flatbeds can be made of Wood/Metal/ABS/3D Printed materials. The flatbed must be at least as wide as the cabs widest point
All bodies/beds must cover entire chassis
All bodies need a full windshield and full rear window
No dovetailing
Bobbing the bed is allowed. From rear inner fender to tailgate can’t be shorter than an 1 ½” The RC4WD Marlin bed is the template, base your bobbed bed off that.
No Front fender pinching
Front/Rear Fenders must cover 90% of your tire,
Fender Flares are allowed.
No Fender trimming allowed unless you are running fender flares, then wheel wells can be trimmed only to match the fender flares which need to cover the entire fender.
Fender Flares must be used for the make they are made for, for example, no Jeep/Willy's shaped fenders for your Chevy Truck so you can cut the wheel wells to that shape.
No cages/tubes can be used for chassis
No Honcho/Ascender molded beds allowed
3D printed bodies are allowed but must replicate a 1:1 Manufacturers body, ie Chevy, Ford, etc.
**exception 1 - if you have a scratch built body made of wood/metal/styrene and they fit the measurement requirements and look like a 1:1 style body we will allow them in this class if all other rules are met.****As long as your body serves nothing more than looks, ie If your body is weathered, rusted, beat, and or just built to "look" a certain way, we will take that into consideration when you tech in.**
BUMPERS:
Front and Rear bumpers must be attached to their appropriate locations on the chassis or body depending on mounting application.
Stock/homemade/aftermarket bumpers must cover the entire nose and rear of the body fender to fender aka Full Width Bumpers
Aftermarket Bumpers must be ahead of your body. No even or under the body bumpers allowed.
If the stock bumper is molded into the body, no additional bumper is required.
INTERIOR:
**interior must resemble the stock interior of the 1:1 make you are building**
Full 3D interior's are required
Molded interiors in bodies, like New Bright, must adhere to the scale guide lines but are accepted as 3D interiors.
Roll bar/headache bar is a must for open roof bodies, ie Jeep, 4Runner, Blazer, Bronco, etc. If using a cap, no need for a roll bar.
Scale Drivers must be no smaller than 5.5" and MUST resemble a human figure.
All interiors must be deep enough for your scale drivers to be whole from the knees up.
SUSPENSION:
Shocks must be no longer than 90mm
Cantilever suspension is allowed on the rear only
Steel Leaf springs only
No Delrin/3D printed/Plastic leaf springs allowed
CHASSIS:
Factory RTR/Kit chassis ONLY
No cutting the chassis’ original length
No half chassis
No truggies
No TVP
TIRES:
Max tire size - measured physical size must not exceed 4.19"
Scale style tires
No cut, shut, comp tires allowed
No trimming treads allowed
No sipping allowed
NO TIRE MODIFICATIONS AT ALL!!!!!
Front and rear tires must be in the fender wells. No stretched wheelbases past the fender wells.
WHEELS:
**1.55's, 1.7’s 1.9's will run in the same divisions.**
No stretching tires over wheels.
No visual wheel weights allowed
No weights on axles
No weighted brake rotors
AXLES:
Factory RTR/Kit axles
Axles must be shaft driven
Approved 3D Printed axles:
Bowhouse RC NCYota 152/170mm
Bowhouse NC60
GCM TM8 TMX
Officially Licensed 1:1 replica Axle’s allowed
Axles not allowed - Portals, Worm gear, RC4WD Blackwells
Absolutely zero visible weight is allowed on any part of the axle or steering components. No brass, steel, lead weights etc,
No Knuckle weights
No weighted disc style brakes
Inner axle tubes are the only exception
Axle width must be no longer than 9.5" from axle end to axle end
No MOA
ELECTRONICS:
All electronics and wires Must be hidden.Excluding wires for external illumination devices and winches.
MISC:
No dig
No rear steer
No free gear shift
Servo winch is allowed. The winch cable MUST come through the front bumper with a fairlead.
A scale replica winch is allowed
No servo on axles
